Larissa Pelúcio got her PhD in Social Sciences from UFSCar (2007). Later she worked on a post-doc at the Center of Studies on Gender “Pagu” at UNICAMP (2008-2010). Now she is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology (tenured) at the UNESP (Paulista State University), researcher of Pagu (UNICAMP) and also the vice-leader of the research group Body, Identities and Subjectivities (UFSCar).

Pelúcio has published her PhD dissertation as “Abjeção e Desejo” and several papers on gender, sexuality and public health.
